Similar to butterflies, native birds love trees that provide them with a rich source of nectar all year round. Birds also rely on the safety that alot of the native flora provide for them.

Bird Baths

Bird baths are an excellent way to attract birds to your garden by providing them with a reliable source of water for birds.
Placing your bird bath near some smaller shrubs makes it ideal for shy birds to slowly make their way in.
Some birds like to stand in the water as they splash, so only ever use a shallow birdbath and making sure to keep the water clean helps the birds but also keeps fewer mosquito's around.
Putting your bird bath on a pedestal can work best to avoid putting them at risk of dangers on the ground.
